🌟 Hobonichi Techo Planner Review 🌟
After trying a number of blank notebooks for Bujo and Journaling, I was interested in trying #Hobonichi,
which is also a favorite of many in this community.
From the options available, #HobonichiTechoPlanner was the one that I’ve picked (that's all because of watching too many @saricastudio’s videos! Hahaha!)
Personally I like the idea of writing every day, jotting down what happened on that day, what was I thinking, what ideas sparked my interests. I like to read and do self reflection from journals that I have written, because that way, I can see how far I go, what are the differences between the old me vs the now me.
After several months of using it, there are four main functions I use for this planner: 1. Daily journal (using the daily pages, sometimes I use the writing prompt for @rockyourhandwriting here) 2. Gratitude log (using the monthly calendar, I only write 1 short sentence) 3. Handwriting practice (if I don't have enough mood to journal, I only write favorite quotes from my favorite books) 4. Habit tracker (using the yearly index. I use the first letter of my habit, e.g. R for Reading, J for Journaling, B for Breakfast, etc.)
That being said...
What I love about this planner: • Small. A6-sized, easy to carry! • Because it's not too big, the habit of writing every day that I want to build feels easier. • It lays flat! It makes writing easy and comfortable. • The paper is so thin yet it can take a fountain pen ink.
Keep in mind that:
* Because the paper is thin, if you use a fountain pen, it is better not to write with too much pressure so that it does not bleed through. I definitely experienced ghosting, but I can avoid the bleeding.
* Hard to find in Indonesia. I asked my friend who traveled to Japan to bought this. But, we can use the jastip service or place a pre-order at some online shops.
* If you like to write long, this size may not be for you.
Hope this helps!
For those of you who have Hobonichi Techo Planner, how do you use it?
And for those of you who have never tried, are you interested in trying it (at least once)? 😊
